The 18th International Festival Docudays UA will take place online from March 26 to April 4

Docudays UA, the International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival, will take place from March 26 to April 4 entirely online on the Docuspace platform. The event will be held for the eighteenth time, and for the second year in a row online. This was reported by the festival website.

Recently, the Kyiv Emergency Commission decided on a strict quarantine, which will last from March 19 to April 9. Accordingly, events scheduled for this period must either take place online or be postponed. The organizers decided to hold the 18th Docudays UA online, again on the Docuspace platform: opening and closing ceremonies, more than 80 films, Q&A with directors, online exhibitions and human rights discussions. Find out about the differences from last year's festival on the Docudays UA website or from the press release on Prostir.ua.

This year the Paramedic is on the main poster of the festival/ He came to tell grandparents the rules of self-isolation, which is the main feature of the pandemic. The Paramedic becomes a hero of a fairy tale, because people always turn into fairy tales an experience that they cannot logically explain. In 2021, the organizers of the festival invited Anatoliy Surma, the author of cartoons from the village of Teofipol, Khmelnytsky region, to collaborate on the identity and festival video.

The 18th Docudays UA is supported by the Swedish Embassy in Ukraine, the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation and the Ukrainian State Film Agency.
